About the course provider
“I thought I was pretty competent at bid writing from previous experience and as I currently and have in the past administered funding, however, the Idox Bid Writing Course turned my perception and understanding of bid writing upside-down in a really positive way. Sue guided delegates though key competencies in regards to bid writing and more importantly explained funders’ requirements from applicants as well as providing key tips on being succinct and specific when writing proposals without the waffle... An excellent course, taught in a friendly, easy to understand manner with associated resources that can be referred to again and again. I highly recommend it!”
Neil De Costa, Birmingham City Council

"I was worried I wouldn't gain that much as I've done lots of bids. Couldn't be more wrong... learned loads, not just about funding bids but also general proposals. I loved the course leader, she was great. A brilliant trainer!"
Dave Lane, Senior Community Services Officer, Kettering Borough Council
"I honestly believe that had I not attended this workshop I would not have been successful with the bid. I learnt a lot and have been able to implement the strategies given at the training to incorporate into the bids that I am now applying for. The trainer's knowledge & expertise in bid writing was fantastic & the workshop notes were precise & clear. It is one of the very few courses that I have attended that I not only thoroughly enjoyed but learnt so much."

"I found the ‘Get Grant Ready’ and Bid Writing courses absolutely brilliant. The training venue was excellent, and the materials just right. The size of the group was small enough for interaction and sufficiently diverse to be able to learn of experiences in various sectors of the economy.
I left the training session with practical tips and learnt enough to enable me put in a winning bid immediately after the training - £10,000 from The Big Lottery Fund towards the £23,000 cost of a new playground for the school. I was chuffed! Thank you to Idox and the excellent trainers."
